Muslim Voices of New York features film clips & shorts from the Philadelphia Muslim Voices Project and from New York Muslim filmmakers. The films and discussion will explore the rich history and contemporary life of Muslims from the perspectives of community members, and offer important insights to the history of this city and to the broader contemporary conversation of Islam in American life.
After the screening join in the discussion with community activists, filmmakers and scholars on the representation of Muslims in the media.
